With elder care services from Right at Home, there are no required pre-authorizations, and our clients are never locked into a long-term contract. In addition, our elder care services can be provided within whatever setting you are currently living:

- A Skilled Nursing Facility (Nursing Home)
- A Hospital, Acute Care, Rehabilitation, or Hospice Facility
Right at Home clients include those in special care situations with diminished sight or hearing, and those who are recovering from severe medical issues. Many Right at Home clients have a combination of these conditions which can make the everyday activities of life difficult.

How are Elder Care Services Paid For?
Reimbursement for elder care services may come from a number of sources:
- Private/Family Pay
- Long-Term Care Insurance
- Automobile Insurance
- Worker's Compensation Insurance
- Health Savings/Flexible Savings Account Funds
- Reverse Mortgage Funds
Will Insurance Pay for Elder Home Care?
Many long-term care insurance, worker’s compensation, and automobile insurance policies will reimburse for these kinds of services. Additionally, funds from mortgage lines of credit (Reverse Mortgages), Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts are sometimes used to pay for elder care services.

How To Set Up Elder Care
The first step is to contact a local
Right at Home administrator. Right
at Home suggests an in-home conference for family and staff to meet and
fully discuss care needs. There is no obligation, and it provides a forum
for us to fully explore the care needs for your family member or loved
one.
During the meeting, we explain fully the elder services available, answer
any additional questions you have for us, and help with the important
care decisions which are faced by the family with a loved one in need.
